Our Company
History
Incorporated in June 1994, SRI Surgical’s original mission was to provide reusable surgical textiles and basins that were cost-effective and environmentally friendly compared to disposable single-use products.
Operating from multiple FDA-regulated service centers, the company’s business model provided for daily delivery and retrieval of reusable surgical textiles directly to point of use in the hospital. The company quickly earned a reputation for outstanding service and quality… a reputation which has helped fuel the growth of the company.

In the late 1990’s, the company expanded its services to include assembly of Disposable Accessory Packs, which complimented its reusable textiles and basins. The combination of reusable textiles and smaller Disposable Accessory Packs allowed hospitals to reduce on-hand inventories and drive savings compared to all-disposable product alternatives.

In the early 2000’s, stemming from growing customer demand, the company expanded its services to include both off-site and on-site solutions for reusable surgical instrument processing. This service capitalized on the daily delivery platform already in place and has dramatically improved the quality and functionality of surgical instruments used by hospitals that have partnered with SRI Surgical.
Today, SRI Surgical’s services have broadened to include turn-key sourcing solutions for all the surgical supplies and instruments required for surgery. Marketed under the ReadyCase name, our integrated solutions enable hospitals and surgery centers to improve surgical efficiency and, most importantly, the quality of patient care.
